Meet the DHWP Icon Button Block.
You can set a class on your block to override its style in any way you want!
Or, you can strip the styles off completely and make your own. Below, I add the same button with my own class.
At its core, the DHWP Icon Button block really does a few simple things.
- Add a link (and link text) with the standard WordPress Link picker.
- Add an icon from WordPress dashicons or use your own image from the Media Library
- Add or Edit the wrapper class for the button.
Here’s the block without any additional class, so that it takes no styling whatsoever. This seems plain, but it lets you choose to either use the default, make minor tweaks to the default, or to completely take over the style of the Button’s HTML.
And that’s it!
